Our History

Van Maanen & Associates was established in 1983 by Jeff Van Maanen. In 2003, Dave Sietstra became a partner with the firm. In 2006, Melanie Meyer was also named a partner. In 2009, Van Maanen & Associates changed its name to Van Maanen, Sietstra, & Meyer, PC, to reflect the partnership status of Dave and Melanie.

We currently employ seven full-time and four part-time workers. Our six financial professionals have a combined industry experience of almost 70 years, ensuring that you receive knowledgeable advice and service throughout your relationship with VSM.
