Colleen graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1996 with a major in accounting and economics. She passed the CPA examination in 1996 and has worked in public accounting ever since. Her specialty is income tax preparation. She also prepares compilations, reviews, and audits for businesses, nonprofits, and governments. Her family has lived in Pella since 2001, when she joined our firm and her husband joined the IT department at Pella Corporation. Prior to working in public accounting, she worked as office manager in a family-owned manufacturing business for nearly 20 years. Colleen, her husband, and her two daughters enjoy gardening, landscaping, and antique cars.
