Melanie majored in accounting at Central College. She graduated in 1997 and passed the CPA examination shortly thereafter. In 2008, she became accredited in business valuation through the American Institute of CPAs. Prior to joining VSM&N in 2004, Melanie worked in public accounting with an emphasis on auditing. She also worked as an accountant and controller for manufacturing companies. She became a partner in VSM&N in 2006. Melanie’s duties include fulfilling the various accounting needs of clients, preparing business valuations, performing audit field work, and preparing tax returns. Melanie enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
